Very good service and the place is very nice and cozy, they definitely have no idea what Vietnamese food is, the spring rolls could not even be chewed, the sauces were further from the Vietnamese flavor, the pho was a broth and sodium bomb and the thick cut meat was unchewable, it had no sweet and salty spice flavor, very far from reality to a Vietnamese pho, the khao soi noodles were delicious and presentable but it is not even Vietnamese it is Thai, how bad that they want to sell the idea of Vietnamese food to people in Guatemala when it is not even close, so if you want to try Vietnamese food this is not the place
A truly disappointing experience. I went to the Oakland Food Court and ordered Pad Thai for Q95. The portion was very small, with barely any chicken. The most surprising thing was that when I paid, they added a 10% service charge. Why charge a service charge when in a food court you serve and pick up your own food? When I asked the person serving me, he told me it was the owners' policy. This leaves a lot to be desired. It seems like their priority isn't providing good service or fair portions, but simply maximizing profits.
I don't recommend it. My personal experience with this restaurant has been extremely disappointing. I placed a delivery order for the Viet Masala (chicken) dish, which was delivered quickly and very well packaged. However, upon consuming it, I noticed a decayed taste. I immediately made the claim through the home service application and they refunded my purchase. After that consumption, I began to feel upset stomach and nausea, which I dealt with without imagining what would happen next. In the following days, my health progressively deteriorated. Two weeks later, I entered the hospital emergency room with severe dehydration, and Salmonella bacteria was detected. I was hospitalized for a week, at risk of intestinal perforation, and I had to cover a large sum of money in medical expenses. I tried to contact the restaurant on two occasions to inform them of what happened and find a solution. However, I did not receive a response until I filed my complaint with the DIACO and the Ministry of Health. The restaurant's legal representatives showed up only to inform me that they were not in a position to settle, claiming that I do not have sufficient evidence to hold them accountable for damages. Additionally, they insinuated negligence on my part for not taking care of my health in a timely manner (they clearly did not review my claim or investigate the Salmonella bacteria). Finally, they told me that I could take legal action against them and that they would “respond,” knowing that this would mean even greater emotional and financial drain on me. This is in Guatemala, where unfortunately some business owners prioritize protecting their business over the health and experience of their customers.
