Excellent food. Very reasonable prices, and the ramen portion is generous in size and delicious in flavor. The supermarket downstairs has a wide variety of products and its prices are reasonable. It's recommended to arrive early because there is a wait for the restaurant and it's first-come, first-served.

I'm giving it 3 stars just because of the restaurant's merits.nnRestó:nThe food is very tasty, not expensive considering how plentiful it is. It's a shame that perhaps they could have had more variety, as it consists of different types of ramen, different types of udon, sushi, and some specialty dishes (which include Milanese with Japanese-style rice, stir-fried rice, the curry is the best, and sautéed fish with various accompaniments). The appetizers are few but good. The desserts aren't worth it; they're just very small, industrial-sized squares of cake. The staff is always pleasant. It usually takes a while to get in. The downside is how TERRIBLY noisy the place is; you can barely speak, and you hear everything the other tables are saying (sometimes more than your own). And the katsu kare set was disappointing last time more than anything: a salad of pure lettuce with a slice of tomato, the classic miso soup, and three squares of fried tofu (I don't like tofu, which is quite peculiar). My boyfriend got a much better set with fried chicken, delicious black noodles, and even bao for the udon!nnSupermarket:nHence the low rating. This supermarket is a disaster. The variety of products is incredible; the most basic things, useless or not at all impressive considering they come from Japan; for example, household sandals, hand towels, basic or highly expendable utensils, common Tupperware, cardboard, hangers (in abundance), A4 folders like those in any bookstore. The food is not very commendable, and most of the snacks are some kind of rice cracker. All this for excessive prices, as is the fresh sweets section, which is totally overpriced considering the small portions.nThen there are things that are redeemable, like everything else. I suppose part of the Japanese community buys regular items that Argentines wouldn't even consider trying. But again, the product selection is terrible; I don't know who organizes what's brought in and what's not, but I should start reconsidering, especially given Japan's huge supply of interesting things to bring back. They could import obento-style lunchboxes for school, stationery items rather than mechanical pencils, truly useful and unusual kitchen utensils, and a much wider variety of snacks. It's not that I can't afford it, it's that it's not worth it, because all the homemade bakery-style sweets are excessive for what they are.nI used to be really excited to go to Casa Japonesa, especially since it's never been close to me and they're in a rather ugly neighborhood; but every time I go, I end up more disappointed. Even Chinatown is more worthwhile, except for the restaurant.nAlso, during the week, it's worth noting that there are no fresh savory foods (bentos, onigiri), so it's not even worth it to buy something to snack on or have for lunch at the office.

One of my favorite places to find quality Japanese food.nnThey have everything: spices, sake, ramen noodles, drinks, local vegetables, bazaar, sweets, rice (very good quality), ramen noodles... endless products to taste and enjoy.nnThe service is always excellent; they are very friendly.nnIt's always busy, so I suggest going early in the morning or early in the afternoon to shop more peacefully.
