We went to Udon on a Friday at 8:30 pm and had a somewhat confusing experience upon arrival: we found the front door locked and didn't understand if it was because it was crowded. We had to enter through the back, and initially, there were only individual seats in front of the kitchen—I don't recommend sitting there, as it's too close to a hot plate. We were later able to move to a different seat, and it was much more pleasant.nnRegarding the food, here are our reviews of each of the dishes we ordered.n- Shake Maki: 4/5 — tasty, but nothing special.n- Temaki Philadelphia: 4.5/5 — very good, but came with too much rice and not enough cream cheese.n- Ebidon: 5/5 — the best dish of the night! Well-seasoned, with seared salmon, an explosion of flavors that's well worth the wait.n- Katsu Sandwich: 4/5 — we came specifically for this dish, but this time the pirarucu was very undercooked, which was a bit of a letdown. - Fillet Yakisoba: 3.5/5 — generous portion and good flavor, but too salty.nnOverall, it was a good experience, but I thought the sushi bar items took a while to arrive, and considering the overall price, I didn't think it was worth it.

I confess that given the location, beauty, and price, I expected more.nThe service was good, except for one specific moment when I asked for the tare sauce four times, and only the manager brought it to me the fifth time (and my little daughter only eats sushi with that sauce, so we waited a long time...).nThe food was very good, but nothing extraordinary... I've had better Japanese dishes for a MUCH more affordable price. The only dish that surprised me was the gyoza. It's something I don't usually order, but my cousin, who was with us, commented that it was worth it, and it truly was the best gyoza I've ever had, with thin, super-tasty dough and a divine sauce! But that's about it... the sushi is pretty average! The more elaborate ones cost around R$80 to R$100 a pair (absurdly expensive) and didn't even have any special ingredients to justify it...nThe dessert was also delicious! Anyway...nThe experience was worth it, especially the location, which is breathtakingly beautiful, but we'll probably be back, as we don't think it's worth the cost-benefit.
